Welcome to the University of Denver  EMS Division

Here at University of Denver Emergency Medical Services (DU EMS), we are driven by a single goal: to do our part in making the University Campus a better learning environment for all of DU's community. We strive to build productive relationships and make positive impacts within all of our pursuits. In 2015, The DU EMS club was founded by 5 undergraduate students who had a passion for emergency medicine. The original intent of the organization was to provide education, training, and medical response to the University of Denver community. To this day, the vision remains strong. DU EMS now has 15 nationally registered emergency medical technicians amongst another 30 members who have the intent to obtain their EMT certification. As of the fall of 2018, DU EMS assists Campus Safety officers with the student-run Safewalk program, in addition to responding to emergency medical calls on campus where basic life support is provided until the paramedics arrive on scene and patient care is transferred.

Co-President

Keanna Lundy

Keanna was born and raised on the Big Island of Hawaii and is currently a senior at the University of Denver. She is majoring in Biological Sciences and Asian Studies. A fun fact about Kiki is that she sometimes eats Cheez-its for breakfast, much to the horror of her lab professor. She joined DU EMS in her freshman year, somewhat by accident. She didn't know much about emergency medicine or have any experience in EMS at the time, but since joining, she has learned and gained so much in terms of both knowledge and experience!
